The honest comparison

Why not just use a card?

We've been there. None of the existing options actually work in the country you're trying to use them in.

Every cross-border payment app I tried in Bangkok charged me 3โ€“5% I didn't see until later. Qrafted is the app I wish I'd had on my first trip โ€” built so the price you see is the price you pay.

FAQ

Questions, answered honestly.

Where can I use Qrafted?
At launch: Thailand (PromptPay), Vietnam (VietQR), Indonesia (QRIS), the Philippines (QR Ph), Cambodia (KHQR), Laos (Lao QR), and Mongolia (QPay). Anywhere these QR codes are accepted.
Do I need to know about crypto?
No. Qrafted uses USDC stablecoins for instant cross-border settlement, but you'll never see a wallet address, a private key, or a gas fee. Your balance is shown in USD, and you fund it like a normal banking app.
Is it safe? Are you regulated?
We work with regulated payment partners โ€” fully licensed banks and payment institutions in the US, UK, EU, and each destination country. We're FinCEN-registered and follow the same KYC and AML standards as Wise or Revolut.
How is this different from a Wise card?
Wise's card runs on the Visa or Mastercard network โ€” most Southeast Asian small merchants don't accept those cards, or they charge 3% extra. Qrafted pays directly via local QR rails, so you can pay a street food cart, a tuk-tuk driver, or a market stall the way locals do.
What about personal QR codes in Thailand?
Yes โ€” including personal PromptPay (the citizen-ID QR most street vendors use). This is the #1 limitation of competing apps; we built around it from day one through a Thai-licensed banking partner.
